Tito Nieves celebrates his new production Desde el Corazón with an intimate salsa night at La Factoria
Presented by Rimas Entertainment, the gathering brought together industry figures for an exclusive album listening
San Juan, Puerto Rico – 11 de junio de 2026 –Renowned Puerto Rican salsa artist Tito Nieves celebrated his new musical production, Desde el Corazón, on Wednesday night with a private gathering presented by Rimas Entertainment at La Factoría in Old San Juan. The experience brought together close to 100 guests, including family, close friends, media, industry allies, personalities and special guests, to listen to the album before its official release on digital platforms.
The gathering served as an intimate prelude to the launch, created to present the project in community and within an atmosphere connected to salsa, musical memory and Puerto Rico’s nightlife culture. The second floor of La Factoría was transformed with visual elements inspired by the world of Desde el Corazón, integrating album branding, decorative jukeboxes, a stage with instruments arranged like an orchestra in pause and a DJ who carried the night through vinyl and digital selections.
The experience unfolded across two spaces, a dance floor marked by a disco ball and a lounge area where the listening session lived alongside special cocktails, cigars and a more intimate atmosphere. For the occasion, La Factoría became a salsa house for the night, with a setting that evoked the presence of a full band and an energy designed for the album to be heard up close, through dance, conversation and celebration.
During the gathering, Nieves shared a few words with guests and presented songs from the new production, in a celebration that served as the lead-up to the release of Desde el Corazón, available starting June 11 on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and all digital platforms.
“Desde el Corazón is a project that speaks to the things that truly connect us, love, friendship, memories and those simple moments that stay with us forever. Listening to it for the first time in Puerto Rico, surrounded by people who have been part of my life and my career, gives this new stage a very special meaning,” said Tito Nieves.
The album marks the salsa artist’s first studio project with Rimas Entertainment and represents a natural continuation of a career that has accompanied different generations. With a proposal that speaks to romantic salsa, popular tradition and contemporary production, Desde el Corazón reaffirms Tito Nieves’ place as one of the most recognized and beloved voices in Latin music.
After celebrating five decades of artistic trajectory, the project opens a new stage without moving away from what has defined his career, songs made to accompany daily life, affection and the encounters that remain in memory. The new production includes “Oye Corazón,” featuring Rey Ruiz, the focus track of the release, as well as “Por Siempre Amigos,” a collaboration with Gilberto Santa Rosa. The album brings together stories about love, friendship and everyday encounters that are part of popular culture, from the most intimate affections to scenes as familiar as sharing with friends around a game of dominoes.
